The collection belonged to the editor of the reference work "De Kongelige Danske Ridderordener" ("The Royal Danish Knight Orders"), which was published to celebrate King Christian IX's 40 years jubilee as monarch in 1903. The book lists recipients of the Order of the Elephant and the Order of Dannebrog with corresponding portrait photos. Many of the photos up for auction are shown in the book.
Brunn Rasmussen's auction "Books and manuscripts" takes place on June 22nd as an internet auction.
