How this website handles data protection

On May 25th, 2018, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect. Users of websites have a right to know how the website handles data protection.
How this website handles data protection

OMSD members have access to this website's member pages.


To handle the login process, the following information is saved on the server:


  • Member no. and name (used to distinguish between separate logins)

  • Email (solely used in connection with the 'Forgotten your password?' function)

None of the above information is shared with any third party. Only the website's webmaster has access to this data.


A member can at any time ask to have his/her data removed from the server by requesting this using the website's contact pages. As a natural result, the member will no longer be able to login to the member pages.


The website uses a socalled 'cookie', which is only used to remember if a user prefers the Danish or the English version of the website by only typing omsd.dk in a browser.
