In addition to medals and documents with a direct relation to the Danish-Prussian wars, there were short presentations of Danish war medals from the Battle of Copenhagen 1801 until today. Furthermore, presentations of the Schleswig-Holstein insurgents and Danish orders, followed by the stories behind the exhibited objects.
An OMSD member residing in England had made the trip to Fredericia to participate in the meeting - impressive!
A senior sergeant from Ryes Kaserne gave a special and thoughtful presentation about veterans and their families. He referred to the 'Family Network' ('Familienetværket') and the Children's Medal, which the Network has instituted for children of veterans.
