Jan René Westh's presentation was accompanied by an exhibition containing objects from his own collection.
Westh briefly summarized the events in France 1939-1940 to give a context for the following story.What followed was a description of important events during the short existence of the Vichy regime and the new orders and medals instituted by this government.
The presentation also included a description of existing decorations used by Vichy and the stories behind the exhibited objects.
